Taylor is a partner and began working at Farr, Miller & Washington in 2001. He is the chief investment officer and a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining the firm, Taylor was a senior equity research analyst at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey, Inc.
Mr. McGowan holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia. Before beginning his career as a financial analyst, he played professional basketball for the London Towers. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary, and he has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
