Michael is a partner and began working at Farr, Miller & Washington in 2003. He is the chief operating officer and member of the Investment Committee with portfolio management and research responsibilities. Prior to joining the firm, Michael was director of finance for James V. Kimsey and the Kimsey Foundation.
Preceding his move back to Washington, D.C. to join Mr. Kimsey’s staff and that of the Foundation, he was a tax consulting manager at Ernst & Young LLP in Miami and West Palm Beach, Florida, where he worked for five years.
Mr. Fox earned a Master of Science in taxation from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
